Why Give?
As Christians we give, not out of compulsion, but rather out of a response to the grace and mercy that God has given us. Additionally, we are called to give of our first fruits, which in turn liberates us from trying to provide for ourselves, realizing instead that God is the One who meets our every need. Therefore, giving is also an opportunity to grow in trusting the Lord.
Practically, by giving to Faith Community Church, you are committing to seeing God's vision established right here in this community. Your giving is a statement of ownership in God's mission through this local church.
If you belong to a local church other than Faith Community Church, we encourage you to continue to faithfully give to what God is doing there and to consider giving to us as an opportunity to go above and beyond in sacrificial giving as you partner with what the Lord is doing in Providence.
