As we begin another year, we are excited to be able to start two initiatives that we hope will set in place our habits throughout the year. The pastor theologian, Charles Spurgeon said, "When asked, 'What is more important: Prayer or Reading the Bible?' I ask, 'What is more important: Breathing in or Breathing out?'" Following that lead, we have started a time of guided prayer and fasting called 21 Days of Prayer, Dangerous Prayers that will run through January 21st as well as One Year Bible Reading Plan that also began on January 1st.
We believe that deep transformation happens in times of fellowship. Often we see this happen in our small groups, that we call lifegroups. Faith Community Church is excited to offer a number of groups throughout the week in a variety of locations and times. Sign up or visit one this week! To find out more visit our Lifegroups page.
Discover FAITH Class
Once a quarter we offer a special class right after service called Discover Faith, which is designed to function as the first step towards membership as well as a venue for new attendees to learn more about our church; its history, its structure, its beliefs, its mission, and its values. Our next class will be Sunday, January 26th at 1pm. Lunch will be provided. To signup please talk to Pastor John Ames after the service or contact our office by phone 401-461-3050 or by email, email@example.com.
