Iglesia Puerta de Esperanza/Door of Hope Church
In 2019, we began doing outreach in the neighborhood of Olneyville through kids camps, relationship building, youth outreach, and English classes. Throughout the process we prayed for God to build His church in this community and for God to send us a bilingual pastor who could lead it. Over this span of time, the neighborhood had made it clear, they needed more bilingual/English speaking churches.
In 2021, we were blessed to get connected to two bilingual pastors, Hender Padron and Lucio Gallo who agreed to lead the church planting effort. After getting prepared and God opening doors for the ministry, Pastor Hender and Pastor Lucio, as well as a core team, gathered together for a soft launch of our first church plant that is now called Iglesia Puerta de Esperanza / Door of Hope Church.
The church meets on Sundays at 10am, with the service being in both English and Spanish. They continue to host English classes and a bilingual Bible study on Thursday nights at 7pm at 122 Manton Ave. Providence, Rhode Island. To see some glimpses of their ministry see the images below.
