We are part of a family of neighborhood churches that is committed to seeing the Gospel witness strengthened and multiplied in under-resourced communities to the glory of God.

Our Story

In 2015, church planting pastor, John Ames had a vision to see seven church plants in seven under-resourced communities in and around the city of Providence, Rhode Island. Since the days of that first plant, this dream has grown into a network of churches and church plants called Seven Seeds, which is now fueled by a residency program and partnerships with like minded organizations.

In 2022, John transitioned the role of director of Seven Seeds as well as the Lead Pastor position for the original church plant over to Dexley Dorcely. As our director, Dexley is actively working with our team to recruit, train, and release more church planters into targeted locations in our area.
